Do we need any dance experience?

Absolutely not. The vast majority of our couples have never danced together before their first lesson — and many have never danced at all. Our entire program is built around beginners. We start from scratch, go at your pace, and make sure you feel comfortable every step of the way.

How far in advance should we book?

We recommend booking at least 6–8 weeks before your wedding date. That gives you enough time to complete a package of lessons and feel truly confident. That said, we've helped couples with as little as 2–3 weeks to go — so don't hesitate to reach out even if your wedding is coming up fast.

What happens in the first lesson?

Your first lesson is relaxed and low-pressure. We'll talk about your song, your vision for the dance, and your comfort level. Then we'll get you moving — basic footwork, how to hold each other, and the foundation of your routine. Most couples are surprised by how much they accomplish in just one session.

Can we just take one lesson to see how it goes?

Yes! Our intro lesson is designed exactly for that. It's a single private session with no commitment to continue. Many couples start with the intro lesson and then decide which package makes sense for them after experiencing it firsthand.

My workdays differ week to week. Can I take lessons on different days each week?

Absolutely. You can book or reschedule each lesson to any day that works for you — there's no requirement to come in on the same day every week. Just use our online booking app to pick whatever day and time fits your schedule, and change it anytime you need to.

How many lessons do we need?

It depends on your goals and comfort level. Most couples feel confident and ready with 3–4 lessons. If you want more polished choreography or have a longer song, 6–8 lessons gives you plenty of time to refine everything. Our 4-lesson package is our most popular — it's the sweet spot for most couples.

How long is each lesson?

Each private lesson is one hour. That's enough time to warm up, work on technique, practice your routine, and end on a high note. We keep lessons focused and productive so you leave every session feeling like you made real progress.

Can we spread our lessons out over several months?

Yes, absolutely. Once you purchase a package, you can schedule your lessons at whatever pace works for your calendar. Some couples prefer weekly lessons; others spread them out over a few months. We'll work around your schedule.

What's included in the lesson price?

Every lesson includes personalized instruction from one of our experienced instructors, custom choreography built around your song, and as much practice time as you need within the hour. There are no hidden fees — the price you see is the price you pay.

Can we dance to any song we want?

Yes — we choreograph around your song, not the other way around. Whether it's a classic waltz, a modern pop song, country, R&B, or something completely unexpected, we'll build a routine that fits the music and feels natural to you.

What dance styles do you teach?

We teach the styles that work best for wedding first dances: waltz, foxtrot, rumba, slow dance, and contemporary styles. We'll recommend the style that best fits your song and your comfort level — or we can blend elements from multiple styles for a truly custom routine.

Will we have a full choreographed routine?

Yes, if that's what you want. We build a complete routine from start to finish — an opening, a middle section with some variety, and a memorable ending. We also teach you how to handle the unexpected (a stumble, a timing slip) so you can recover gracefully and keep smiling.

What if one of us is a much better dancer than the other?

This is very common! We work with the couple as a unit and build a routine that plays to both of your strengths. The lead role is designed to guide and support — so even if one partner is more confident, the other can follow naturally without feeling lost.

Where are your studios located?

We have two private studios — one in Roswell (serving North Atlanta, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Sandy Springs, and surrounding areas) and one in Marietta (serving Cobb County, Smyrna, Kennesaw, Acworth, and surrounding areas). Both studios are private, comfortable, and designed specifically for couples.

Can we switch between studios?

Yes. If you purchase a package, you can take your lessons at either location — or split them between both if that's more convenient. Just let us know when you book and we'll make it work.

Question 16

What should we wear to lessons?

Comfortable clothes you can move in, and shoes with a smooth sole (not rubber-soled sneakers, which grip the floor too much). Ladies, if you plan to wear heels at your wedding, it's worth practicing in a similar heel height at least once or twice before the big day.

Do you offer lessons on weekends?

Yes, we offer lessons on weekdays and weekends. Availability varies by instructor and studio, so we recommend reaching out early — especially if you need weekend slots, as those tend to fill up faster.
